no.5. A university offers degrees to students. The university consists of faculties each of which consists of one or more departments. Each degree is administered by a single department

Each student is studying towards a single degree. Each degree requires one to 20 courses.A

Student enrolls in 1-5 courses (per term.) A course can be either graduate or undergraduate ,but not both. Likewise, students are graduates or undergraduates but not both.

Draw a class diagrams which represents the generic objects and relationships described above. Make sure to specify multiplicities for all associations shown in your diagrams.

ANSWER:

no.6. The Northstar Hotel’s website allows potential guests to make a room reservation, specifying the dates and type of room. If they have registered with the website previously their stored details are used to speed up the process, otherwise they are required to register as a new customer. Each reservation is given a unique reservation code. Before the date of their stay they may enter this reservation code into the website to ament or cancel the reservation. Amentments can include althering the dates, changing the room type of the number of guests

In each room. When the guests arrive at the hotel the reservation id is used by the receptionist to quickly find the reservation to check them in with. At the end of their stay the receptionist checks the guests out, at this the hotel system validates their payment through the card

Payment system; a printed invoice may be requested by the guest at this point. The hotel has many room types available, each with a room-type name, number of guests and additional facility information. Each room in the hotel has room number and is of one specific type. The maintenance of this date is performed using a separate system  out  of scope of this exercise. Monthly reports are prepared by the system which may be viewed on request by the Hotel Manager.

Produce a System  Use  Case diagram for the above scenario.

ANSWER:

no.7. A final exam for a given course is prepared by the instructor of the course and submitted to the DCS undergraduate office by March 20. The undergraduate office sends all exams to the Faculty of Arts & Science office where copies are made. On the day of exam, copies are given to the presiding officer who takes them to the room where the exam is given. The students write the exam on an exam copy, and return to the presiding officer at the end of the exam. The written exam copies are given to the instructor for marking.

Draw a sequence diagram that captures this description.
